Apparently the news is worried about getting their residuals for all those episodes they re-run and then sell on dvd.... or not. Wait a minute, why do the news writers need to strike. When did reporters become writers. Ok I'm all for hollywood writers striking because they are the ones providing the creativity for the shows and movies they write for. But why in the fudge do the news reporters need to strike? I'm hoping that "creative" journalism doesn't exist there. Although judging from Katie Couric's numbers it seems pretty certain no one is watching anyways so it doesn't really matter. Besides manufacturing the news seems alright for FOX why not CBS (oh snap did I just say that? damn skippy!).
