South Carolina says it, too cool for Stephen Colbert

South Carolina is not doin itself any favors. we all remember that state fondly... Site of Sen Strom Thurmond, (in)famous racist who fathered a child with an African-American (i think he was from this Carolina- im too lazy to check, or use capitalization). Site of needless tobacco farmers. But it wont be the site of a Colbert Presidential run. Despite the fact that he filed his paperwork on time and payed his fee (a whopping 2500.000- the extra zeroes make it look like a larger number), but the state democratic party voted 13-3 to keep him off the ballot. Their reason? Would you believe they don't consider him a legitimate national candidate? After Tuesday's democratic debate Im not sure that I consider Kucinich a legitimate candidate, going on about UFOs and whatnot... sheesh! Whats the worse that could happen, South Carolina? Someone might confuse your state for one that can take a joke? Nope. Instead we can all be reminded state party officials still have sticks up all their respective butts. At least Colbert will get his check returned.... justice.
