For all the greatness of the iPhone, Apple still treats it like a child. It's not allowed to have un-licensed programs, not allowed to stay up late, or drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes. Here comes Google, fresh off it's $700/share last week, with it's cool kid, who gets to hang out past 10pm and has hippy parents. Do whatever you want, man! Here's my kid, let him explore the world and get down. Apple is too busy convincing people that they have the greatest piece of technology ever that they refuse to innovate or collaborate.
